I have had a four day weekend which was nice.
On Thursday we caught an Arctic Char and a Rainbow trout.
But six hours on Saturday and five hours on Sunday produced absolutely nothing.
It was nice to be out enjoying the sun though.
This morning when I opened the bedroom curtains, I had an unusual bird at the bird feeder…….an acrobatic stoat!
Looks like it was a fun spring weekend… Thanks for sharing…!
Nothing better than a wonderful sunny day in late winter soaking up that Vitamin D. We also do a lot of ice fishing this time of year. Catching them can be very slow which I believe is due to low dissolved oxygen in late winter under the ice, the lakes dead or dying vegetation uses up a lot oxygen. We have lakes that the fish kill completely or have a significant die off each year.
Looks like a lot of ice fishers on that small lake.
